Oppidan’s VP of Investment Relations, Jamie Korzan, is honored as one of the 2022 Notable Women in Commercial Real Estate. Twin Cities Business releases its annual list to highlight influential women decision makers who use their industry expertise to support others in the industry and mentor future leaders in commercial real estate.

In the commercial real estate industry, success is dependent on establishing and maintaining exemplary relationships with investors. That’s exactly what Jamie excels in. Jamie draws from her 12 years of commercial industry experience as she helps position Oppidan for financial success by building and maintaining stellar communications between Oppidan and its investors, including national leaders such as Kayne Anderson, Bailard & Harrison Street. She’s the single point of contact for Oppidan partners and investors and plays an important role throughout the development and operations of Oppidan’s senior housing communities, multi-family and data center projects, which have all grown as a result of Jamie’s involvement.

Jamie’s leadership has resulted in continual increases to Oppidan’s portfolio, and Oppidan continues to rise on local and regional Top Developers lists, developing more than 566 projects valued at more than $4.3 billion and spanning 26.4 million-square feet throughout 40 states and parts of Canada. Oppidan’s client list includes Watermark Retirement Communities, Ebenezer, Duluth Trading Company, Northern Tool, Cub Foods, Hornbachers, Target, Sprouts, GE Oil & Gas, Goodwill, Caliber Collision and more.

Jamie plays a critical role in growing Oppidan’s Senior Housing portfolio, including six Pillars Senior Living Communities across the state and two additional Pillars senior living communities in development. Under Jamie’s leadership, Oppidan has expanded its reach into California, with multiple senior housing developments in development and The Watermark at Napa Valley, which received the prestigious Gold Nugget Award for Best Service Enriched Senior Community.

Jamie was instrumental in growing Oppidan’s multi-family portfolio, including the Lowa46 Apartments, which received the Minnesota Shopping Center Association STARR Award for Top Mixed-Use Retail Project, and the second phase of the project which includes an additional 144 units.

Jamie is a member of NAIOP and LeadingAge Minnesota. Outside of work, she’s active in her community by leading a group of volunteers at Eagle Brook Church in Wayzata.
