Oppidan is a proud sponsor of the Purple Gala through the Alzheimer's Association. In 2018, Oppidan was the Corporate honoree at the gala. The Alzheimer’s Association hosts an annual Purple Gala to celebrate and honor the lives of people impacted by Alzheimer’s and other dementias. Proceeds raised from the event provide awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research.

Along with sponsoring the Purple Gala each year, The Pillars, Oppidan's senior housing communities, is a sponsor for The Walk to End Alzheimer's. Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research.
