2020 COFFEE FOR A CAUSE SERIES BEGINS IN JULY TO RAISE MONEY FOR THE ALZHEIMER’S ASSOCIATION
All five of The Pillars Senior Living Communities throughout the state will participate
Minneapolis, Minn. – July 1, 2020 – After a successful first year in which $2,239.86 was raised, The Pillars Senior Living Communities are bringing back their “Coffee for a Cause” event in each of the five senior living communities throughout the state. This event, which takes place July through September, raises money for the Alzheimer’s Association’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
During Coffee for a Cause, community members are invited to The Pillars Senior Living communities and pick up complimentary Starbucks coffee, a treat and a Pillars backpack from their outdoor Bistros. Starbucks has generously donated the coffee, and all event donations will support the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. Pongo the Pillars Pup will also be in attendance.
Due to COVID-19, this year’s event will look slightly different. Attendees are asked to stay in their cars, wear masks and drive up to the coffee booth. The Pillars representatives will wear masks and gloves, and keep a safe distance.
