Tim Brent

Tim joined the Oppidan team in 2020 as Executive Vice President of our Southeast office. In this role, he leads all aspects of development from sourcing opportunities, negotiating contracts and entitlements, municipal processes, and lease negotiations. Tim’s focus areas include industrial, multi-family, mixed-use and retail.

Tim previously worked as a Land Broker at NAI Carolantic in Raleigh, NC. Prior to this, he was a Professional Hockey Player for 12 years, playing for the Anaheim Ducks, Pittsburgh Penguins, Chicago Blackhawks, Toronto Maple Leafs and Carolina Hurricanes.

Tim is a board member of the Carolina Hurricanes Sled Hockey program, which serves children with special needs, men and women who are paraplegic or amputees, including many military veterans. He is also a member of Triangle Commercial Association of Realtors (TCAR).

When Tim isn’t working for Oppidan, he loves spending time with his wife and two children. He is an avid hunter, fisherman and golfer.
