Tami Kozikowski
Tami Kozikowski brings over 36 years of leadership and commercial real estate experience to Oppidan. A seasoned board member, versatile operations executive, and strategic thought leader, she has led enterprise-wide transformations across public and private sectors in service and retail industries, with companies ranging from $60 million to over $40 billion.
Most recently, as CEO of The Waters – a developer, owner, and operator of high-end senior living communities – Tami navigated the company through strategic challenges, including greenfield expansion, the pandemic, and the successful sale of its operating company. She began her real estate career at Trammell Crow Company and later led real estate functions at Musicland, Best Buy, Advance Auto Parts, and Life Time Fitness.
Her natural curiosity drives her to challenge the status quo, fostering innovation and continuous improvement. With an inclusive and collaborative leadership style, she builds consensus and empowers teams. At her core, Tami is customer-focused, team-oriented, and bold in her decision-making.
She holds an MBA in Marketing and Finance from UCLA Anderson School of Business and began her career as a CPA in California after graduating with honors from the Carlson School of Business at the University of Minnesota.
Tami and her husband Mark, reside in Wayzata, MN. Their three adult daughters are early in their careers on the East Coast.
