Shane Reding

As Vice President of Accounting and Controller at Oppidan, Shane Reding provides financial support and reporting across all asset classes, ensuring transparency and accuracy for the company’s partners. Since joining Oppidan in 2017 as Controller, Shane has expanded his role to include corporate accounting, project accounting, and third-party reporting, playing a vital part in the company’s financial operations.

Before Oppidan, Shane spent 15 years in the banking industry, specializing in accounting and finance. His extensive background in financial management equips him with the skills necessary to handle complex real estate transactions and reporting requirements.

Shane holds a Master’s in Accountancy from the University of North Dakota and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Minnesota State University Moorhead. Outside of work, he enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with his family.
