Ricky Chodek

As Senior Construction Manager at Oppidan, Ricky manages all phases of construction across a diverse portfolio that includes senior housing, industrial, retail, and mixed-use developments. He oversees project execution from preconstruction through completion, ensuring alignment on budget, schedule, and quality. Ricky works closely with internal teams, partners, and contractors to drive efficient delivery and maintain strong relationships throughout the lifecycle of each project.

Prior to joining Oppidan, Ricky held construction management and business development roles at Roers Companies. He also brings general contracting and owner’s representative experience across multiple markets, including Arizona, Washington, Utah, Minnesota, Texas, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Florida. Through these roles, Ricky developed a well-rounded perspective on project delivery and client engagement across a wide range of asset types. He is an active member of NAIOP, where he stays engaged with industry trends and best practices.

Ricky earned his Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management with a minor in Business from North Dakota State University. He serves as a firefighter for Mendota Heights and is actively involved in coaching his kids’ sports teams. Outside of work, Ricky enjoys spending time with his family, including trips to the Boundary Waters, as well as running, cycling, and taking advantage of the outdoors whenever possible.
