Nikki Hauck
As the Vice President of Human Resources, Nikki supports the success of the overall strategic mission of Oppidan through its people by ensuring they are the best personal and professional versions of themselves. In this role, Nikki oversees all aspects of Human Resources, Payroll, Marketing and PR as well as office operations for Oppidan. Nikki considers her relationships with both internal and external stakeholders a key factor in in this.
Nikki earned a bachelor’s degree from Minnesota State University, Mankato and is proud to be a Maverick. Since graduating she has obtained both her Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR), Professional Human Resources (PHR), along with her Women In Leadership certification from MSU, Mankato.
Nikki believes in being an active member of the community and engages regularly within the sports/clubs in which her children participate having served for 2 years as the PTO Vice President and 2 years as the PTO President of her children’s elementary school, additionally successfully executing many staff meals for teachers during parent & teacher conferences. She was also a highly involved member of the 2020 Vision committee at her church: with the successful planning and execution of multiple events throughout the year to develop the vision for the future of her church. She volunteers in her spare time for both Windmill Animal Rescue and Warrior Dog Rescue. Nikki is an enthusiastic mentor in the Twin Cities SHRM Mentor/Mentee program, acting as a mentor to the future stars of Human Resources. Nikki has been an active board member for the Women in Leadership board at Minnesota State University, Mankato. Additionally, Nikki has sat on the Construction Advisory Board for the University of Minnesota as well as a member of the Lockton Talent & Advisory Council.
Nikki likes to keep busy with her husband, three children, three cats and dog. Nikki and her husband are attempting to complete, the nifty fifty, with their children by getting their children to visit and experience all 50 states.
When she is not wearing her HR hat, she likes to be either trying out a new recipe or reading a book. As a self-described fan of all things historical, Nikki is regularly reading a new biography or account of a moment in time.
