Matt Fornasiere

As Director of Construction at Oppidan, Matt oversees the successful delivery of data center developments within the company’s national portfolio. He plays a key role in driving project execution from preconstruction through completion while building and maintaining strong relationships with mission critical equipment suppliers and general contractors across the country. With two decades of nationwide experience as an owner, property developer, and general contractor, Matt brings broad industry expertise and a results-driven approach to Oppidan’s data center platform.

Prior to joining Oppidan in 2021, Matt served as a Construction Project Manager at LifeTime Fitness, Inc. He also held roles in construction special projects and commissioning at Target Corporation. Throughout his career, Matt has worked across a variety of sectors, including senior and multifamily housing, retail, mission critical, industrial, and health and hospitality projects, successfully leading complex initiatives from planning through execution.

Matt earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Recreation from the University of Minnesota. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing, tackling DIY projects, and attending baseball games. He and his wife and three children spend much of their free time boating, fishing, swimming at the family pool, and participating in youth sports.
