Dave Dirks

As Senior Construction Manager at Oppidan, Dave oversees all phases of construction from initial planning through project closeout. He leads design development and manages general contractors throughout the build process, keeping projects on schedule, on budget, and built to the highest standards.

Before joining Oppidan, Dave served as a Project Manager at RCS Construction, where he partnered closely with developers on a variety of retail and country club amenity projects. Prior to that, he spent several years at Mortenson in a variety of construction roles, gaining broad experience across hospitality, education, entertainment, industrial, data centers, and retail. That range of exposure shaped his ability to adapt quickly and deliver results across nearly any project type.

Dave holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering from Iowa State University. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, whether that’s on the ice, out on the golf course, on the slopes, or up at the cabin.
