Christy Harris

As Construction Manager at Oppidan, Christy is responsible for managing all aspects of projects from inception through completion. She oversees planning, coordination, and execution across a diverse portfolio, with a focus on industrial, data center, multifamily, and retail developments. Christy works closely with internal teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.

Prior to joining Oppidan, Christy served as a Project Manager with Omega Construction, where she oversaw the development of approximately three million square feet of industrial distribution centers. She also held a Project Manager role at Samet Corporation, where she managed a range of multifamily and retail projects. Through these roles, Christy gained extensive experience leading complex construction efforts across multiple asset types.

Christy earned her Master’s degree in Construction Management from Western Carolina University and her Bachelor of Science from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She is an online adjunct professor in the Construction Management Department at Guilford Technical Community College and is a licensed General Contractor who is currently building her own home. Christy is also a proud mother of two daughters and a full-time dance mom, spending most weekends at dance conventions and competitions supporting her girls.
