Ananta Senior Living

Ananta Senior Living is a 75,000-square-foot senior living community located in Santa Cruz, California. The project will offer 76 assisted living and memory care apartments in studio, one-, and two-bedroom layouts. Construction is expected to be completed in late 2026, with resident move-ins beginning in early 2027.

 Designed with wellness, connection, and comfort in mind, Ananta features Mediterranean-inspired interiors and a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces that encourage social interaction and relaxation. Residents will enjoy access to multiple courtyards, a dining room with a pizza oven, theater, living room and gelato bar, salon, wellness center, and several lounge areas – many with ocean views.

Calson Management, a second-generation, family-owned company that operates eight senior living communities across California, will manage the community. Located adjacent to the Shrine of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Ananta offers walkable access to the church, Shrine Coffee, and the scenic coastal trails of Lighthouse Field State Beach. Rooted in the meaning of its name – “Ananta,” a Sanskrit word for boundless or infinite – the community embodies a holistic approach to senior living, nurturing body and spirit through coastal serenity, faith, and connection.
