Oppidan breaks ground on second phase of luxury Minneapolis Apartments at 46th and Hiawatha
Project to be completed in Q3 of 2023
Oppidan, a national property development firm headquartered in Excelsior, broke ground on the development of luxury apartments at 46th and Hiawatha. The new development will be located next to Lowa46, Oppidan’s transit-oriented, mixed-use development that was completed in 2018
This new apartment building will include 144 units comprised of alcove, 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom apartments.
“Beginning this project was a long time in the making and the neighborhood has experienced significant investment in TOD development since the Cub Foods opened in 2018. We are excited to continue our investment in the neighborhood and achieve the goals of the long-range planning studies that begin in the early 2000s,” said Drew Johnson, Oppidan SVP of Development.
Additional amenities include:
- Fitness Center, roof deck with grills unique co-working lounges, club room, secured building access and package room, underground parking and bike storage, and a pet washing station.
- Spacious apartments, in-unit laundry, private balconies, quartz counters and proximity to Minnehaha Falls and the Minneapolis trail system.
The luxury Minneapolis apartments are expected to be completed in Q3 of 2023. The project’s general contractor is Amnon Construction and the architect is BKV Group and will be professionally managed by Greco Properties.
