Rutger Heffelfinger

Rutger is an Asset Manager who is responsible for overseeing all aspects of lease negotiations and asset management for Oppidan’s growing industrial portfolio that includes more than 2.5 million square feet throughout Minnesota, North Carolina and South Carolina.

Prior to joining Oppidan, Rutger gained extensive transaction experience through his work in the corporate real estate division of JLL. This work included representing corporate clients across the country in leasing, buying and selling key real estate holdings. Rutger has brokered real estate projects in numerous states and has broad experience across product types, including extensive work with industrial, retail, medical and office space. He’s a member of NAIOP and is an active contributor to the University of St. Thomas Real Estate Alumni Network.

Rutger graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a Bachelor’s degree in finance and real estate. A native of the Twin Cities, Rutger resides in Excelsior with his wife, Katie. When he’s not at work, he enjoys time spent with his family at the lake or skiing out west.
