Minnetonka, Minn.-based Oppidan Investment Company developed 992,600 square feet of property and 152 apartment units across the country in the second half of 2014. During that same time period, the company also provided construction management services for 19 projects and sold 67,200 square feet of retail space plus 50 home lots in its Woodland Hills development in West Des Moines, Iowa.

Over the course of last year, Oppidan was involved in the development of more than 1,300,000 square feet of property, including development of the company’s future headquarters in Excelsior, Minn. The year also included the firms’ first senior housing project (Ebenezer’s Red Rock Senior Living) and its first industrial park project (Stanley Airport Industrial Park – Pioneer Energy Services).

Joe Ryan, chief executive officer of Oppidan, said, “2014 was a year of tremendous growth for Oppidan. We entered new market sectors. We sold many of our holdings in North Dakota’s Bakken region. And we continued to help several longtime retail clients grow and expand.”
